Wife should of use Woods instead of Iron - Uchitel Tattles - Sponsors stand behind thier man, for Now
(NECN) - On Thursday, the country will hear from the New York woman who has denied having an affair with Tiger Woods.
Rachel Uchitel's lawyer said she sill talk about her relationship with the golfer.
Woods apologized for his "transgressions, behavior and personal failings" in a statement on Wednesday. This after US Weekly Magazine released a voicemail on its web site that Woods allegedly left Jaime Grubbs, who claimed to have had an affair with Woods. She said she met Woods in Las Vegas after the 2007 Masters.
Woods is also facing criticism from fellow golfers, including Jesper Parnevik, who introduced him to his wife, Elin.
"I'm kind of feel a little sorry for Elin, since me and my wife are at fault (for) hooking her up with him," Parnevik said. "We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably just have to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of a 3-iron."
examiner - Rachel Uchitel, the New York party planner who was named in a National Enquirer story as Tiger Woods mistress, has decided to come clean and admit she did indeed have a sexual relationship with the married Golf Great. Radaronline is also reporting that Tiger paid for her expenses to meet him in Australia at his last golf event.
In a video from x17, Rachel looks the victim, moments after her limelight lawyer, Gloria Allred, feeds the paparazzi. The best part of the video below is when the one paparazzo dumps the fancy tray of food for the shot of her client. Stay tuned for tommorow's press conference, Gloria Allred is an expert at getting the max out of her clients 15 minutes.
Rachel is now the third woman to come forward with claims of extra-marital affairs with the Billionaire Golf Legend. Right after US Magazine published a voice mail, in which Tiger even identifies himself, to Jamie Grubb, asking the Las Vegas cocktail waitress to change take her name off her phone. Mr Woods published his own angry confession that yes indeed he is guilty of indiscretions and he is mad as heck that the media forced him to admit it.
That is three women and counting, the latest being Kalika Moquin, a marketing manager for Bank nightclub in Las Vegas. Tiger has been married for five years to model Elin Nordegren, the couple have two young children.
One of the world's most recognisable figures with the image of a squeaky clean, hard-working sportsman, Tiger Woods has lucrative endorsement deals with major companies such as Nike, AT&T and Gillette, a unit of Procter & Gamble.
His marketing deals appeared to be holding fast last night despite the gathering furore.
Nike, Gillette, NetJets, and PepsiCo Gatorade all said their relationships with the golfer remained unchanged.
"Nike supports Tiger and his family. Our relationship remains unchanged," Beth Gast of Nike Golf said in an e-mail. His case was hardly hurt by the fact that the Florida Highway Patrol has closed its investigation into the accident on Tuesday and issued a traffic ticket to Woods for careless driving, saying the accident was his fault but that no criminal charges would be brought.
Less easy to dismiss, however, is the tide of sleaze rising at his doorstep. Several days ago, the 'National Enquirer' had said Woods had a relationship with Rachel Uchitel, whom the paper described as a "New York City party girl." Uchitel has denied any such relationship. Life & Style magazine reported that Woods had been seeing Kalika Moquin, a marketing manager for a Las Vegas nightclub. The magazine said she "neither confirmed nor denied an affair with Tiger."
The top draw on the PGA tour, Woods is chasing Jack Nicklaus' record for victories in major tournaments and the unofficial title of best golfer ever. In a glittering career, he has won 71 times on the tour, including 14 major wins.
He made a successful return to professional golf last February after eight months following reconstructive knee surgery, and finished on top of the FedEx Cup standings for the season.
