"Gossip Girl" Threesome Prompts Parents Television Council Campaign Against Show
NEW YORK — On-air promos for a sexual threesome on an upcoming episode of "Gossip Girl" have spurred the Parents Television Council to ask affiliates of the CW network to pre-empt the show.
Airing the teen tryst, which is being teased in an ad as a "3SOME," is "reckless and irresponsible," said PTC president Tim Winter in a statement Wednesday. The threesome involves three main characters in the show but they are not identified in the promos.
The PTC has urged CW affiliate stations not to air the episode, scheduled for Nov. 9.
In a letter to the affiliates, Winter asked: "Will you now be complicit in establishing a precedent and expectation that teenagers should engage in behaviors heretofore associated primarily with adult films?"
This is not the first time the PTC has complained about the sexy prep-school soap, which Winter said is "expressly targeted to impressionable teenagers."
In July 2008, the organization spoke out against a racy marketing campaign for its new season. Ads showed intimate moments between the show's characters (on a couch, in the sack or apparently skinny-dipping), accompanied by headlines like "A Nasty Piece of Work" and "Mind-Blowingly Inappropriate."
"CW has been defending graphic content on 'Gossip Girl' by asserting that they don't target teenagers," Winters said Wednesday. "Such a claim doesn't even pass the 'laugh test.'"
CW spokesman Paul McGuire said the target audience for "Gossip Girl" is 18- to 34-year-old women, with a median viewer age of 27 years old. The network had no comment on PTC's complaint, he said.
The Parents Television Council describes itself as a nonpartisan education group advocating responsible entertainment.

'Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew' premiere: Sure, why not make a bunch of sex addicts live together?
Here’s the problem with these rehab-on-TV shows: They are showing rehab. On TV. Um, most sobriety programs have “anonymous” in their names for a reason. Because anonymity is a key aspect of getting over addictions, which means television might make the process a bit tougher. VH1’s Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew becomes the latest semi-serious attempt to depict the process of overcoming addiction. And with its Sunday premiere, the series, like Celebrity Rehab before it, achieved the same odd combination of attacking important issues and allowing a salacious look at people who seem far worse off than most of us. It’s truly great for anyone in any public forum to treat masturbation, condom use, STDs, and the tricky connection between sex and emotion as serious subjects worthy of genuine, nonjudgmental discussion. But there’s no denying the more voyeuristic elements of this series:
While not a “celebrity” reality show per se, every attempt was clearly made to satiate viewers with characters who have as sexy a public connection as possible — a pro surfer, a Playmate, a rock drummer who worked with Skid Row, a porn star, the gorgeous wife of a guy who won Rock Star: Supernova, and even the requisite reality crossover star, Celebrity Rehab grad/swimsuit model Amber Smith. And yes, all these pretty darn beautiful people are expected to live together while fighting their urge to sleep with other beautiful people, and these people who for the most part perform for a living are supposed to ignore the cameras while doing this. It’s the kind of show that can seamlessly move from painful admissions of repeated childhood sexual abuse to funny, camera-ready demonstrations of sexual frustration (when hyperactive surfer James Lovett hits the treadmill). Uncomfortable? Yes. Reprehensible? Maybe. Watchable? Absolutely.

Kanye West- DO you Have To bE a DumbA$$ to Get Publicity?
Taylor is no idol of mine, and I think the MTV video awards are a waste of time, but come on - let the girl have her moment in the spotlight. As a society, has all respect and decorum been forgotten about? Seems that way, after looking at the lyrics that Kanye uses in his songs. Having already done that myself, and felt dirty for hours afterwards by doing so, I really don't think it's that out of character for him.
This leads me on to another point - why does pop music have to be so freakin' lifeless? I mean, everything that's out there is lacking in substance. Frankly, it's all crap. I just can't stand to listen to it anymore. It probably says something about our culture that we are mostly aware of how shallow it all is, but we just accept it anyway. All most people want is pithy, nonsensical platitudes in our music and quick pop psychology fixes for the rest of their lives.
But I digress, so let's get back to Kanye the moronic egomaniac. Should we expect better? Probably not~ As long as idiocy is rewarded with airplay and publicity, we'll continue to get more of the same. Fame is sought after at all costs even if it's at the expense of someone, anyone (or everyone) else. Why should we even care what these people say, sing or think about? Do they have any qualifications that would make me want to value their opinion?
Of course, the same is true here - who cares what I say or do? Who I am to be giving my opinion?? I love to rant and rave about anything that crosses the circuits in my little brain - even if I'm not particularly qualified to comment on the issue.
I guess I should try writing pop music...

Madonna's new look to get younger men
Yesterday, CB covered Madonna’s appearance on The Late Show on Wednesday night. Madonna showed off her latest incarnation – she’s still the self-absorbed Madge that we know and love (sort of) but with some added improvements (the chicken cutlet cheeks) and a new look. Even though I think Madonna’s plastic surgery looks totally painful – and I think during her appearance on Letterman, she was even wincing in pain as she tried to smile – I rather like Madge’s new look. I think she’s aiming for sultry cougar, bypassing matronly for a kind of kitschy, updated, fabulous Eva Peron look.
When the subject turned to the rapper’s abrupt outburst during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the VMAs, the 51-year-old superstar said she thought Kanye’s actions were “impulsive” and told Seacrest she would like to “give him a good talking to” and says “he needs to put a lid on it.”
“As long as they’re old enough to dress themselves, they’re good enough,” she told Seacrest.
“My body is part of my job. I look in the mirror and say ‘more work…less cake, more work.’”

Aubrey O'Day Cancels Las Vegas Show Due To Naked Photo Leak (With Video)
The former Danity Kane singer performs in Sin City revue Peepshow, a semi-nude stage extravaganza, and made her debut performance on Tuesday.
She was disturbed to learn an audience member had snapped her mid-performance during her first show - and took to her website to post a video of her stripping to inform fans of her plans to axe Wednesday's gig.
She says, "I'm making a video for you guys, because instead of being onstage at Peepshow tonight, where I usually am, I decided to call off tonight because of some nude photos that were illegally obtained last night at the show. Last night was my opening night, and it was such an amazing feeling, and I've been told by everyone that the performance that I gave was absolutely amazing, one of the best they've seen. But the photos made me feel like c**p. It made me feel bad. It made me feel insecure about my body, and unfortunately, this is not the first time I felt this way in this industry."
But O'Day has vowed to go on with the show in a bid to hit back at all her critics.
She adds, "A lot of people may not understand what it feels like for women to be judged like that, but as you can see, I'm not performing, which is the one thing I love doing most... I'm not going to let anyone like (gossip blogger) Perez Hilton say that Aubrey looks ugly un-Photoshopped. I am going to be back onstage at 'Peepshow' every night following tonight's cancellation."
Aubrey's video is probably nsfw because of a see-through bra, and it contains some strong language. Watch it:

Kanye's VMA With Taylor Swift And Katy Perry's Comment
On an even more interesting note, he's now been heard stating that he apparently feels like Greg Focker of the movie, "Meet The Parents". Apparently this is due to so many people who wanted him to leave after the VMA's. It was obvious why he felt like a focker. Take for instance all of the blog comments he got and all of the angry people in the audience after he interrupted T. Swift receiving her very first VMA in such a shockingly distasteful way. Taylor had even left you tube videos regarding how excited she was about even being nominated.
Kelly Clarkson, Pink, and others didn't hold back on anything either. Kelly Clarkson left a blog which said the following: ""I've seen you do some pretty s----- things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, ass--- ways. .... It's absolutely fascinating how much I don't like you. I like everyone"
She then continues: "What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we're all just curious as to what would make a grown adult go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit."
The former American Idol sweetheart was also nominated against Swift for best female video, but insists that she was still happy for her. "You weren't even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a Moon Man that much of a life goal? You can have mine if it will shut you up." Clarkson said.
"I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and was excited for her. So why can't you be?? I'm not even mad at you for being an ass----. ... I just pity you because you''re a sad human being," she writes. Clarkson praised Swift: "You outsell him, [West]. That's why he's bitter. You know I love your work! Keep it up girl!" She also appreciated Beyonce and called her a "class act," for showing grace in the situation.
Later, West went on the Jay Leno Show and apologized. After all the hysteria you almost end up feeling a little sorry for Kanye in the end. A one time fashion leader, wearing all the new styles, even had his own Nike shoes, the "Air Yeezy". He made a few other fashion statements with his luxury, yet sporty/fashionable timepieces including the Bape Casio G-Shock watch. According to other sources he was also a fan of Breitling Bentley and other Breitling watches which says a lot about his sense of style.
Like all other artists who have to deal with the issues just as with all celebrities, Kanye will revive in the end and bounce back like all of the others. It will just take some time since he did basically trample on a new and very young artist. Like Katy Perry said, "F--k You, Kanye. It's like you stepped on a kitten.". The statement proves how long of a wait he truly has. Staying out of the spotlight for at least a couple of years would help. Then come back with honey instead of something bitter. Catches more bees.

Sarah Palin Getting a Divorce? Say it ain't so!
World Exclusive: Sarah Palin's Shattered Marriage
Sarah Palin's husband Todd smiled happily and stood lovingly by his wife's side last year during her vice presidential campaign. But behind the scenes, their marriage was in turmoil — and now they're on the brink of a shocking divorce!
In the Aug. 24 issue of Star, on sale today, we have world exclusive details about Alaska's former first couple and their disintegrating union: They're sleeping apart, arguing non-stop and losing control of their party-loving daughters!
"Sarah and Todd are fighting all the time," Mercede Johnston — sister of Levi Johnston, ex-boyfriend of Sarah's eldest daughter, Bristol — tells Star in an exclusive interview. "When they do, Todd often ends up sleeping on the couch at their home in Wasilla. Bristol used to tell Levi that her parents would argue and bicker over the littlest things, like who was supposed to take out the trash or wash the dishes."
Levi, the father of Bristol's 7-month-old son, Tripp, recently told RadarOnline.com that Sarah and Todd have had marital trouble "from day one," and that he believed their escalating problems were the reason behind her mysterious decision to resign as governor of Alaska last month with more than a year left in her term.
His sister Mercede predicts: "If they ended their marriage within the next year, I wouldn't be surprised at all. It really seems to me their marriage is just a sham for the cameras now!"
Another possibility, an Alaskan insider tells Star, is that with Sarah's multi-million-dollar book deal in place, "she might even come to some financial agreement for him to stay with her and give the impression of a loving husband, at least through her book tour next year. In that respect, they'd be like the Jon and Kate Gosselin of politics!"
And like the TLC reality stars, Todd and Sarah have their brood of children to worry about — and their worries keep growing with a new family scandal. Star has an eyewitness account of their 15-year-old daughter Willow drinking vodka and smoking pot at a wild house party! "Her eyes were getting more and more glazed as the night went on," says a source.
Pick up this week's issue to see a photo of Willow slamming back vodka and to read more about Sarah and Todd's shattered marriage. Plus: The shocking secret behind Sarah's missing wedding ring!Monday, August 3, 2009

Michael Jackson -- Thriller to the End
By James Ziebarth
Joseph Jackson wasted little time living vicariously through his sons. Joseph turned his kids into performers and started a family group. Michael Jackson and his brother Marlon would join this group in 1964. Michael was only eight years old when he began singing backup vocals and dancing. Michael and Marlon quickly became the lead and the group was named The Jackson Five.
Michael Jackson was not destined to be in a group act. Even though the Jackson Five found celebrity, he was destined to be a solo performer. In the late 1970s, Michael struck out on his own. By 1982, Michael Jackson was releasing his second solo album. Thriller became the most successful album of all times. Thriller stayed on Billboards top 200 for 80 consecutive weeks. RIAA certified Thriller for 28 million shipments, earning Thriller Double Diamond status. Worldwide, Thriller sold between 47 million and 109 million copies.
Being just another singer is not what Michael had in mind. He would also become an author in 1988 adding the title of writer to his repetoir. Moon Walk, his autobiography, would take nearly four years to complete and would sell over 200,000 copies.
Michael Jackson's fame made him a very rich man. Between 1984 and 1985, he purchased the catalog to the Beatles music for $47.5 million. This year was not without its challenges. While filming a Pepsi commercial, his scalp was burned.
In 1993, Jackson's first case of accused child sexual abuse surfaced. The accusers were a 13 year old boy names Jordan Chandler and his father, Evan Chandler. On January, 1, 1994, Jackson would settle with the Chandler's out of court for $22 million. Jackson was never charged in this case due to lack of evidence by the state.
In May 1994 Jackson was married for the first time to Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley. Jackson and Presley's marriage was short lived, and would end in a divorce 2 years later. They would still remain friends after the divorce.
Entering his second marriage in 1996, Jacko would marry his dermatology nurse, Debbie Rowe, on November 14. Together they would have two children. Michael Joseph Jackson, now known as Prince Michael Jackson, would be the first born. Their second born would be their daughter, Paris Katherine Michael Jackson. Just 3 years later the marriage would end, but the split couple would still continue to be friends, with Debbie Rowe granting full custody of both children to Michael.
In 2002, Jacko's third child would be born. Prince Michael Jackson II. The mother's identity was never released by Jackson, but he would say that the child was the result of an artificial insemination from a surrogate mother and his own sperm cells.
In 2003, Jacko was once more accused of child molestation by then 13 year old Gavin Arvizo. Jackson would be charged with seven counts of child molestation and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent to a minor.. Jackson would deny all allegations.
His trial, People vs. Jackson, would officially begin on January 31, 2005 and would last for a period of only 5 months. The trial ended with Jackson being acquitted on all counts.
Right before his death in 2009, Jacko was to be in the spotlight once again. He was scheduled to perform at London's O2 arena, starring in 50 sold out concerts. They were to begin July 13, 2009, with the last concert scheduled to be on March 6, 2010. The ticket sales, according to Jackson's website, broke numerous records.
On June 25,2009, Los Angeles Paramedics would receive a call at 12:22 p.m (PDT). Michael Jackson had collapsed in his rented mansion. Paramedics arrived three minutes later at Jacko's residence. CPR would be administered for an hour while en route to a local Los Angeles hospital, where Jackson would be pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. local time.
His memorial would be held on July7, 2009, at the Staples Center in Los Angles. His casket was present at the memorial, which was broadcast live all around the world and watched by up to one billion people, but no information would be released about the final resting place of Michael Jackson's body. RIP Michael "King of Pop" Jackson.

Obama Fly Kill Upsets PETA
WASHINGTON - The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants the flyswatter in chief to try taking a more humane attitude the next time he's bedeviled by a fly in the White House.
PETA is sending President Barack Obama a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside.
"We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals," PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich said Wednesday. "We believe that people, where they can be compassionate, should be, for all animals."
"Get out of here," the president told the pesky insect. When it didn't, he waited for the fly to settle, put his hand up and then smacked it dead.
"Now, where were we?" Obama asked Harwood. Then he added: "That was pretty impressive, wasn't it? I got the sucker."
Friedrich said that PETA was pleased with Obama's voting record in the Senate on behalf of animal rights and noted that he has been outspoken against animal abuses.
Still, "swatting a fly on TV indicates he's not perfect," Friedrich said, "and we're happy to say that we wish he hadn't."
Deputy press secretary Josh Earnest said the White House has no comment on the matter.

Sonny & Cher's Chastity wants to be a Man - Chaz
(CNN) -- Chastity Bono, gay-rights activist and child of performer Cher and the late entertainer and politician Sonny Bono, is in the early stages of transitioning from a female to a male and will be known as Chaz, his spokesman said Thursday.
"Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity," Howard Bragman said in a written statement.
"He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz's hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his 'coming out' did nearly 20 years ago."
Someone's decision to transition does not necessarily mean they are undergoing gender reassignment surgery, and in many cases they do not, said Mara Keisling, executive director of the Washington-based National Center for Transgender Equality.
"The whole media fixation on surgery is kind of misplaced," she said. "Almost no transgender people ever have surgery. We don't have any idea how many do." iReport.com: Do you have a transgender story?
An estimated one-quarter to one-half percent of the American population is transsexual, however, Keisling said. "It's sort of a general term that encompasses both or either a social transition or a medical transition."
Keisling said she was unaware of the specifics in Bono's case, but speaking generally, a transition means that he will now want to be "known, seen, viewed" as a male.
"The actual details depend on his needs and wants and his doctor's needs and wants," she said.
Bragman asked that the media "respect Chaz's privacy during this long process, as he will not be doing any interviews at this time."

Now 40, Bono as a little girl made regular appearances on her parents' show, "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour." As an adult, he has been a longtime gay-rights advocate and been closely associated with the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. Photo See more photos from Chastity Bono's life »

Shia LeBeouf Got His Sense of Humor from Watching his Parents have Sex?
Shia LeBeouf is back to talking about his family in an inappropriate manner, this time saying he got his sense of humor from watching his parents “have sex.”
The comment was the second time he has surprised fans with his thoughts on his parents after he called his mother.
“My humor came from seeing my parents have sex, smoke weed, my mom being naked – just weird hippie stuff, twisted R-rated humor,” he told Parade magazine.
LeBeouf, 23, admitted that he is indeed battling a few demons, adding that all actors are.
“They’re all in pain. It’s a profession of bottom-feeders and heartbroken people,” he said. “Most actors on most days don’t think they’re worthy,” he added. “I have no idea where this insecurity comes from, but it’s a God-sized hole. If I knew it, I’d fill it and I’d be on my way.”
The “Transformers” star, who was arrested on a DUI in July of 2008, also admitted to being an alcoholic.
“Why am I an alcoholic? I haven’t a [expletive] clue.”
May 4, 2009
LOS ANGELES — Forget his “Transformers” co-star Megan Fox, actor Shia LaBeouf apparently thinks his mother is the “sexiest” woman he knows.
In a new interview with Playboy magazine, the actor reveals some unusual thoughts about the woman who gave him life, reports Star magazine.
"Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother," he says. "She's an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman. If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with my mother now, if she weren't my mother, as sick as that sounds."
According to the interview, which Star Magazine says it obtained, while the “Transformers” star was growing up, his mother often liked to walk around the house naked, even when young LaBeouf’s young friends were over.
"All of them would just be naked around the house,” LaBeouf tells Playboy of his mom and her friends in the June issue. “That was strange for me, and it was really bizarre when my friends were there. You've got your little buds over, and Mom's, like, playing naked connect the dots or whatever. She's in the middle of goddess-group time, where it's literally a bunch of naked women tracing auras around one another's bodies with incense and then sitting together and humming for prolonged periods of time."
The actor also said that marijuana use was casual, but that he saw what “drugs can do to you.”

Gwyneth Paltrows Goop on Legs Puts Twitterers In Frenzy
Gwyneth Paltrow was on Conan O'Brien's fourth Tonight Show last night, and typically, she showed off her toned stems (thanks, Iron Man 2 preparation) by wearing a scrap of wisp of a dress. But while she attempted to dazzle the world with her wit and child-rearing tips (give 'em beer and Jay-Z -- really), bloggers and Twitter-ers were instead dazzled by her unnaturally shiny legs. She was wearing sequins and her legs still had more sheen and blinding sparkle than her dress, for God's sake. Was there baby oil involved? Was she sweating? Or is her skin just naturally as taut, pale and smooth as one of those windshield reflector thingies?
Naturally, we turned to Twitter to see what others were saying about all of this, and as of now it seems as though the "lard theory" seems to be taking root.

UPDATE Susan Boyle has Emotional Breakdown | Boyle Backlash - 2nd Place Britans Got Talent Susan Boyle Still Makes Out Big
UPDATE thesun.co.uk
BRITAIN'S Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle was in the Priory clinic last night suffering from exhaustion.
The singer, dubbed SuBo, had an "emotional breakdown" following Saturday's final in which she was runner-up, but the talent show favourite was still eyeing a mega United States tour.
The 48-year-old virgin, tipped to earn $8MILLION, survived tears and a tantrum to finish second in Saturday's gripping final of telly's Britain's Got Talent.
But the pressure finally told late yesterday as the Scots singer - dubbed SuBo by fans - was rushed to the private clinic suffering from exhaustion. Show aides had contacted police to say she was acting strangely at her London hotel.
Paramedics helped the "spaced-out" star through the lobby and into an ambulance just after 6pm.
A Met Police Inspector and a police doctor were called to assist. The ambulance, tailed by a police car, then took her to the Priory in Southgate, North London.
A source at the hotel said last night: "She'd been at the hotel for a few days, but since Saturday's final had been acting strangely, causing a bit of a stir.
"The staff were concerned - something wasn't right.
"When the paramedics and police arrived she agreed to go voluntarily. She didn't make a fuss. The paramedics calmly took her out through the main lobby and into the waiting ambulance.
"It was all done very calmly. They didn't want to stress or upset her. She didn't look well - she looked lost, not all there."
A source at the clinic said last night: "I was having a cigarette break when a whole load of ambulances arrived.
"Everyone was saying, 'Who's that'? Then I saw her and it was Susan Boyle. I was gobsmacked."
The singer, from Blackburn in West Lothian, has learning difficulties. The specialist clinic has 52 bedrooms and specialises in the treatment of mental health.
A Britain's Got Talent spokeswoman said last night: "Following Saturday's show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained.
"She has been seen by her private GP, who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery. We offer her our ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery."
A show source said: "It's very tough, Susan is emotionally drained - she gave it her all and is absolutely shattered.
"Simon Cowell spoke to her backstage on Saturday night and told her she had everything going for her - a record deal, an American tour. But it's up to her, she has to see what she wants.
"We do realise that we have a care of duty to look after her."
Favourite Susan, beaten by dance act Diversity, faced a backlash last week when she was ushered from her previous hotel by worried show bosses after a rant in a bar.
She was also spoken to by cops after arguing with her sister. And The Sun can reveal the brave singer fled the final stage in tears after belting out I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables, the song that made her famous. She had been booed by sections of the audience after show judge Piers Morgan made her his tip to win. After leaving the spotlight, Susan sank into the arms of producers and buried her head in her hands before starting to cry.
Earlier, she had launched into a furious four-letter outburst when told her glittering stage costume had failed to arrive just 15 minutes before she was due to appear on stage.
The singer was made a floor-length silver gown for the event, but a source said: "I was in the dressing room when she came in with some production staff. She looked like she was about to explode and was swearing.
"Susan was wearing a red robe, and a girl from production was trying to calm her down by saying, 'Your dress will be here any moment'.
"That was what set her off. It was 15 minutes before the show, and she didn't have her dress. I guess that could push anyone over the edge. They ushered her into a room, but we could still hear her swearing like a trooper."
Yet Chiefs at SyCo - Cowell's division of Sony BMG - have big plans for Susan.
They are this week set to take her to America, where she is already a huge star and is due to score a Sony record deal.
Offers have been coming in thick and fast for the BGT phenomenon. A string of US shows have been trying to lure SuBo as a guest and to get her to sing.
Experts reckon she could make up to $8million after selling the rights to her fairytale life story, as well as a book deal, record cash and further millions from image rights, product endorsements and TV appearances.
A Sony source said: "Susan is going to be huge - it doesn't matter in the slightest that she didn't win.
"We're going to look after her. Never mind the States, she's had offers from round the world." TV Simon said: "We've never had a runner-up like Susan before. She won over a lot of fans - not just with her voice, but with her graciousness. She's got a massive future."
Proud neighbours in Susan's Scottish home town were last night preparing to give her a hero's welcome - unaware of her admission to the Priory.
Brian Smith, 51, said: "I thought she was a certainty to win.
"She has put Blackburn on the map and is a winner to us.
"We are keeping up all the bunting and banners up until she gets back.
"I think we will throw her a massive party - she deserves it."
Michelle McCabe, 34, said: "I thought she would win hands down. She can come back with her head held high."
LONDON, England (CNN) -- She may have finished second, but Susan Boyle continued to make newspaper headlines in the UK Sunday following her shock defeat in the final of "Britain's Got Talent."
"Boyle Backlash" said the headline in the tabloid News of the World, suggesting that the Scottish 48-year-old's alleged "four-letter tantrum" earlier this week had influenced millions of viewers to switch their votes to dance act Diversity.
The buildup to Saturday night's live final had been dominated by reports that Boyle lost her temper in a London hotel and had even considered pulling out of the talent show finale.
The Mail on Sunday said she had been been "comforted by psychiatrists" ahead of Saturday's final.
"They have a whole army of doctors, psychiatrists and experts all available to any contestant at any time. They have all been taking great care of Susan," the paper quoted "Britain's Got Talent" judge Piers Morgan as saying. Video Watch how Boyle's rise to fame has been an emotional ride »
In Scotland, where crowds had gathered in Boyle's hometown of Blackburn in anticipation of victory, celebration parties were stopped in their tracks as the unexpected result was announced.
"Boyle foiled in final: Susan's dream is over," said the headline in the Sunday Mail.
Earlier, the paper said, Blackburn's community center had been "a sea of hands" as Boyle performed her signature tune, "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical "Les Miserables."
"They stood with tears in their eyes as Susan hit every note. Stamping and chanting her name, her fellow villagers could not have been more proud." Video Watch the dramatic end to Susan Boyle's dream »
But "the cheers were caught in the collective gullet ... as dance troupe Diversity gatecrashed this most expectant of parties," the Sunday Herald reported. "Jaws were left agape. Tears were shed. And then the supportive chanting of 'SuBo' began again."
Boyle could still be the real winner from the series, which became a global hit after clips of her audition of "I Dreamed a Dream" racked up millions of hits on YouTube.
"£6M superstar" said the Sunday Mirror, claiming that "Britain's Got Talent" impresario Simon Cowell plans to take Boyle across the Atlantic to "conquer the U.S."
The News of the World upped Boyle's likely earnings on the back of "Britain's Got Talent" to £8 million ($13 million).
On top of a multi-million dollar record deal and share of album sales, Boyle is also set to earn from a Hollywood movie of her rags-to-riches life, a book deal, and millions more from image rights, endorsements and television appearances, the paper said.
In an interview with the News of the World, Cowell said Boyle could be the biggest star he had ever discovered.
"They don't care in America whether she wins a British TV show -- they care about the woman they saw singing on YouTube," a Cowell insider also told the paper. "If anything, £8 million in her first year might be an underestimate."

Meanwhile, competition winners Diversity are also set to cash in on their success with a film deal and a possible slot supporting Michael Jackson when the superstar plays a series of shows in London next month, the Sunday Mirror said. The group collected £100,000 ($162,000) for winning the final and will perform in front of Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Variety Show later this year.
"We feel electric. Words can't describe it. I'm genuinely shocked. We thought Susan was unstoppable -- she's an unbelievable talent," the paper quoted the group's choreographer, Ashley Banjo, as saying.
