aceshowbiz.com
In 'Beyond Here Lies Nothin' ', Bill prepares for the final battle against Maryann and recruits an unlikely partner to aid him.
Season 2 Finale Preview of 'True Blood'

The time for "True Blood" to wrap up another season has arrived. A sneak peek to the season 2 finale episode called "Beyond Here Lies Nothin' " which will be airing in two weeks has been released to show how Bill takes desperate measures to save the people of Bon Temps.

Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam places his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally. In the preview, Bill is kind of forcing Sam to follow him and later the vampire puts Sam as a bait when confronting Maryann.

In another story, Sophie-Anne warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill's inquisitiveness. There is a scene where they are engaged in a sexual endeavor which is something that Sophie-Ann makes a habit of when meeting her 'children'. Meanwhile, Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss and Hoyt struggles with Maxine's endless stream of insults.

"Beyond Here Lies Nothin' ", which is also the title of theme song by Bob Dylan, will air on September 13. HBO has ordered a third season which is expected to air summer next year.

Tatiata Kozhevnikova Holds Record for Strongest Va-Jay-Jay

newsbizarre.com

Tatiata Kozhevnikova has been training her private parts doing Kegel exercises for over 15 years. The confident Kozhevnikova has even lifted about 14 kilograms of weights (just under 31 pounds) to prove it. She has been doing Kegle exercises to strengthen her pelvic muscles, and now she has the world record.

Kozhevnikova has been exercising her intimate muscles on a daily basis, and she has been recognized by Guinness Book of Records where she holds the record as the woman with the world’s strongest vagina.

Here's what she says is her secret for training,

“After I had a child, my intimate muscles got unbelievably weak. I read books on Dao and learned that ancient women used to deal with this problem using wooden balls. I looked around, saw a Murano glass ball and inserted it in my vagina.”

"You insert one of the balls in your vagina, and it has a string attached to it with a little hook at the very end. You fix a second ball onto this hook."

Kozhevnikova also provides sex-enhancing tips for women

"It’s enough to exercise your vagina five minutes a day, ladies, and in just one week you’ll be able to give yourself and your man unforgettable pleasure in bed.”

Perhaps it's time to add a new Olympic sport. No doubt the male viewing audience would increase.

May we all find and share our true gifts, and may we truly enjoy the talents of others.

Drink Beer Win a Trip into Space the Final Frontier

foxnews.com
The company behind the dark Irish beer Guinness will give loyal drinkers a taste of space along with their stout, but only if they win a new contest.

Guinness has reserved a seat aboard a suborbital Virgin Galactic spaceliner as one of three experience prizes in an online contest honoring the 250th birthday of the beer's brewery this year.

Founded by British billionaire Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Galactic is a commercial space tourism company that plans to launch passengers on $200,000 trips to suborbital space using a fleet of SpaceShipTwo spacecraft.

The spaceliners are designed to be launched from the air by a massive WhiteKnightTwo mothership and send two pilots and six passengers on a weightless joyride.

Virgin Galactic currently plans to launch and land space tourist flights from a terminal at Spaceport America in New Mexico — which began construction earlier this month — as well as from a spaceport in Kiruna, Sweden.

The first WhiteKnightTwo carrier ship "Eve" has been flying a series of test flights this year.

Guinness officials said their space trip contest runs through Sept. 24 and promised a thrilling ride for the winner.

The launch will catapult passengers beyond Earth's atmosphere at nearly 2,500 mph (4,023 km/ph) — three times the speed of sound — to a point about 68 miles (109 km) above the planet, Guinness officials said.

Once in space, passengers will have a view of the blackness of space and unbroken vistas of the Earth for 1,000 miles (1,609 km) in every direction before re-entering the atmosphere and gliding back to its home port, they added.

The beer company announced the new contest on Wednesday to commemorate founder Arthur Guinness's signing of the 9,000-year lease on the St. James's Gate brewery in Dublin, Ireland.

Some 250 events are planned in participating countries around the world. They are open to adults of legal drinking age in their respective countries.

"Since 1759, Arthur Guinness and the Guinness brand have been behind some remarkable and hugely momentous achievements," Guinness officials said in a statement. "To continue this legacy and as part of the 250 celebrations, Guinness is giving something back to Guinness supporters around the world by offering the chance to win one of these three remarkable Guinness experiences."

The two other prizes include an undersea trip to a Guinness bar 229 feet (70 meters) below the ocean's surface near the Lofoten Islands in Norway, as well as a private live studio performance by the band The Black Eye Peas.

Virgin Galactic's carrier ships and spacecraft are being built by the California-based company Scaled Composites.

The new vehicles build on the firm's SpaceShipOne and WhiteKnight vehicles that won the $10 million Ansari X Prize in 2004.

Finger Lickin' Fifteen - Book Out Today - See The Burg

THE BURG

Yes I am a fan of Janet Evanovich and have read all her books. Fast reading and fun, you will get wrapped up in Stephanie Plum's crazy world as a bounty hunter with attitude. In Stephanie's opinion, toxic waste, rabid drivers, armed schizophrenics, and August heat, humidity, and hydrocarbons are all part of the great adventure of living in Jersey.

She's a product of the "burg," a blue-collar pocket of Trenton where houses are attached and narrow, cars are American, windows are clean, and (God forbid you should be late) dinner is served at six.

Now Stephanie's all grown up and out on her own, living five miles from Mom and Dad's, doing her best to sever the world's longest umbilical cord. Her mother is a meddler, and her grandmother is a few cans short of a case.

Out of work and out of money, with her Miata repossessed and her refrigerator empty, Stephanie blackmails her bail bondsman cousin, Vinnie, into giving her a try as an apprehension agent. Stephanie knows zilch about the job requirements, but she figures her new pal, fearless bounty hunter Ranger, can teach her what it takes to catch a crook.

Her first assignment: nail Joe Morelli, a former vice cop on the run from a charge of murder one. Morelli is also the irresistible macho pig who took Stephanie's virginity at age sixteen and then wrote the details on the bathroom wall of Mario's Sub Shop. There's still powerful chemistry between these two, so the chase should be interesting......

Russia Uses Brad Pitt Cutout to Slow Traffic

brad_pitt_cutout

thetribute.ca

Brad Pitt is helping the Siberian city of Omsk to stop speeders. Russian traffic police came up with the idea of placing cardboard cutouts of Pitt wearing a traffic policeman’s uniform at various intersections throughout the city in the hopes that his appearance would get drivers to slow down. So far, it appears to be working. Officials say accidents are down as star-struck drivers slow to get a good look at Brad. Head of traffic police Dmitry Zaryanov told Pravda Daily: “There are many dangerous spots in Omsk, but a shortage of policemen. We had to improvise.” Each cutout costs only $113 dollars to manufacture. Just one thing - they haven’t asked Pitt’s permission, but hopefully the mega-star will be pleased that his celebrity status is being put to good use.

Spy Robot 'ROVIO' Keeps Eye on Children Pets and More

robots-dreams.com
This Is Not A Toy

As the robots box clearly states, "This is not a toy" - far from it. With the ROVIO, WowWee has delivered a highly functional and extremely useful robot appliance that will find broad application both in the home and in office environments. In addition to remote viewing - like home security, we plan on using it for video conferencing, especially in situations where there is a need to pan around the room, or to look at items - like new product models, from different perspectives.

Also, the ROVIO is small and light enough that it's easy to pick up and carry. It would be the perfect tool to carry around and give remote clients a tour of our facilities. For that matter, you could use it to let the grandparents feel they were right in the middle of a birthday party, even if they are hundreds of miles away.

Sanity Check

To get a sanity check, and to make sure we weren't overlooking something important about this exciting new robot, we asked Robert Oschler, the founder of RobotsRule.com and the leading expert on all WowWee robotic products, for his perspective:

"I feel Rovio's biggest advantage over other consumer mobile telepresence robots is the Northstar navigation system which allows it to drive itself.

The reality is that people will find themselves fairly often in places where their broadband connection is spotty due to connection quality issues (frequent drops) or severe latency. Trying to drive with a poor video stream or where there is a severe latency between the time a movement command is selected and the time the effect of that movement becomes visible in your browser is a difficult task to say the least.

Rovio will still be able to execute patrol routes perfectly since it can drive itself and can take high quality pictures at each waypoint automatically, if you set that up with the patrol route. These photos can be set to be automatically E-mailed to you via a selected E-mail account. This means Rovio can still be successful in its role as a home surveillance robot even when faced with the reality of varying web connections."

Assuming the ROVIO is in the same room as the Charging Dock, when its batteries start to run low a warning message appears on the control interface. After you click on the warning, the robot figures out where the dock is located and trundles over and docks to recharge. Charging the batteries can take roughly two hours if the battery pack is depleted. Of course, if you continue to use the robot after the low battery warning is displayed, eventually it won't have enough power to find its way home.

Conclusion

We think ROVIO is positioned to be the hottest robot for the upcoming holiday season, and for a long time to come. This robots functionality, usefulness, styling, and ease of use sets new standards. Not only is it a fantastic mobile webcam platform, it also lends itself to other applications.

US Has A Super Laser Burns as Hot as a Star

AP/File – A US weapons lab pulled back the curtain on a super laser with the power to burn as hot as a star.(AFP/File/MONICA …

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) – A US weapons lab on Friday pulled back the curtain on a super laser with the power to burn as hot as a star.

The National Ignition Facility's main purpose is to serve as a tool for gauging the reliability and safety of the US nuclear weapons arsenal but scientists say it could deliver breakthroughs in safe fusion power.

"We have invented the world's largest laser system," actor-turned-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said during a dedication ceremony attended by thousands including state and national officials.

"We can create the stars right here on earth. And I can see already my friends in Hollywood being very upset that their stuff that they show on the big screen is obsolete. We have the real stuff right here."

NIF is touted as the world's highest-energy laser system. It is located inside the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory about an hour's drive from San Francisco.

Equipment connected to a house-sized sphere can focus 192 laser beams on a small point, generating temperatures and pressures that exist at cores of stars or giant planets.

NIF will be able to create conditions and conduct experiments never before possible on Earth, according to the laboratory.

A fusion reaction triggered by the super laser hitting hydrogen atoms will produce more energy than was required to prompt "ignition," according to NIF director Edward Moses.

"This is the long-sought goal of 'energy gain' that has been the goal of fusion researchers for more than half a century," Moses said.

"NIF's success will be a scientific breakthrough of historic significance; the first demonstration of fusion ignition in a laboratory setting, duplicating on Earth the processes that power the stars."

Construction of the NIF began in 1997, funded by the US Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).

"NIF, a cornerstone of the National Nuclear Security Administration's effort to maintain our nuclear deterrent without nuclear testing, will play a vital role in reshaping national security in the 21st century," said NNSA administrator Tom D'Agostino.

"This one-of-a-kind facility is the only place in the world that is capable of providing some of the most critical technical means to safely maintain the viability of the nation's nuclear stockpile."

Scientists say that NIF also promises groundbreaking discoveries in planetary science and astrophysics by recreating conditions that exist in supernovas, black holes, and in the cores of giant planets.

Electricity derived from fusion reactions similar to what takes place in the sun could help sate humanity's growing appetite for green energy, according to lab officials.

"Very shortly we will engage in what many believe to be this nation's greatest challenge thus far, one that confronts not only the nation but all of mankind -- energy independence," said lab director George Miller.

The lab was founded in 1952 and describes itself as a research institution for science and technology applied to national security.

"This laser system is an incredible success not just for California, but for our country and our world," Schwarzenegger said.

"NIF has the potential to revolutionize our energy system, teaching us a new way to harness the energy of the sun to power our cars and homes."

Giant Robot to Clear Cut Trees, Fight Forest Fires?

TreeHugger

forest fire fighting robot photo
All images via Tuvie

Okay, wow. Here's an idea for you--a giant, saw blade-wielding robot that can be unleashed to fight forest fires. See, it can be deployed to rapidly clear cut a section of forest to contain a blaze with those massive buzz saws, sparing pristine acres and saving lives. Just goes to show what a generation of designers reared on a steady diet of Transformers, Voltron, and I guess, Captain Planet can do when they put their mind to it.

Not sure if this design is old, but I'd never seen it before. Tuvie reports that it took 6 months to complete. And it was just so over-the-top, I couldn't pass up a post on it. So many questions remain--how is the thing to be powered? Why is it bright orange? What does it transform into?

Sarcasm aside, it's good to see such forward-thinking design put towards green causes--even if it's likely to remain entirely impractical for the foreseeable future. And yes, California could probably use a fleet of these if they were ever (somehow) able to be put into production. And if they all one day turned on their human masters, at least the state's got a governor who'd know how to stop them . . .

The way it looks like it would work is the two arms on top would grab a tree it intended to cut, while the arms with saws on end would come in and slice it at it's base.

There may even be a stripping mechanism in those appendages to strip away the bark, similar to how logging machines work today.

Scroll down for more images of what this incredible machine would look like.

The forest-fighting robot was conceived by Detroit designer Jordon Guelde.

As you can see, the thing is intended to be huge . . .

That pile in the background? Used to be a rain forest. All in a day's work.

EXCLUSIVE..Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Footage

Last night E Online Tweeted Sneak Peek: Transformers: Rise of the Fallen : Director Michael Bay offers first look at a two-minute scene from..with a link to their website.
COME ON E if you are going to promote a movie you could at least get the name right, it's Revenge not Rise of the fallen. People commented on error and today the page is down. Hopefully next time they will get it right. And Paramount Stopped the release also.

Revenge of the Fallen Robots

By Anthony Breznican, USA TODAY

It's always the quiet ones you need to fear.

Ninjas. Serial killers. Boba Fett. Gastrointestinal functions.

In Transformers lore, the mechanical jaguar Ravage has been a villain favorite since the 1980s for his stealthy tactics and deadly force. Ever since a four-legged mechanical beast prowled through the trailer for summer's sequel, Revenge of The Fallen, fans have been awaiting more word about the feline-ish Decepticon. As more robots in the June 24 movie are revealed, Ravage comes into focus.

"In the spirit of 'more than meets the eye,' Ravage isn't just lethal because of his sharp teeth," says screenwriter Alex Kurtzman. "There's actually another skill set Ravage has that didn't exist before, so there's going to be a surprise for fans."

This version of the cat already looks far different from the original, with a single glowing red eye and a swinging, mace-like tail, but his role will be similar to the 1980s cartoon and Hasbro toy — the ultimate spy.

Ravage often was dispatched to monitor the heroic Autobots and their human allies, reporting back to the Decepticons by transforming into a cassette tape and replaying his recordings through the larger robot master Soundwave, who switched into a Walkman-sized tape deck. (How a giant robot became a small piece of sound equipment was a comical hole in logic never fully explained.)

The cassette tape transformation is gone, of course; Ravage doesn't turn into anything. But Soundwave will appear, again serving as an evil communications expert but this time in the form of an orbiting space satellite.

"They are still connected," fellow screenwriter Roberto Orci says of Soundwave and his pet. "But rather than trying to hold onto a notion as antiquated as an audiotape, which some members of our audience have maybe never laid eyes on, we wanted to go a new way."

And Ravage, as before, won't speak like the other Transformers.

"We wanted to stay true to the idea that Decepticons who take visual clues from beasts maintain that," says Orci. "It would be strange to have a talking jaguar, or a scorpion with an English accent."

Filmmaker Michael Bay has ensured that Ravage has lots of company, including many redesigned favorite robots from the original 1980s incarnation, in the new film.

"We have big guys, some little guys. We have a lot of littler ones, too. Little weirder ones," Bay says. Like the Insecticons, which were giant bugs in the original series and Hasbro toy line, but are now tiny creepy-crawly infiltrators.

Bay, who collects the Vanguard Award Thursday night at ShoWest, offers a peek at others joining Optimus Prime and Bumblebee for another rock-'em, sock-'em robo-brawl.

AUTOBOTS (the good guys)

Jetfire:

As in the original, this fighter plane crash-landed on Earth a long time ago, and he will become a reformed Decepticon now fighting for the humans. His alternate form is the SR-71 Blackbird, the outdated but still-sleek Cold War spy plane.

"He's old, craggy, forgetful ... doesn't work very well. Can't transform very well, because he's very geriatric. They get stuck with him a lot," Bay says. "He knows the plan of the bad guys, but he forgets all the good parts of the plan."

New recruits:

Sideswipe, a candy-apple red Lamborghini in the original, joins the cast this time as General Motor's silver Corvette Stingray concept car. Jolt is a new foot soldier, played in four-wheel form by the Volt, a forthcoming Chevy hybrid plug-in. Two of GM's other concept cars (the Trax and Beat) play The Twins, nicknamed Skids and Mudflap.

"Some of the junior Transformers are just dumb," Bay says with a laugh. "But it's great for kids because they're like the Little Engine That Could. They're (screw)-ups, but they get really heroic at the end."

For the gals:

Arcee is the only female and turns up as Megan Fox's hot-pink motorcycle. Co-screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci say she was in an early draft of the first movie. "But we felt we needed to win the audience over before asking for that suspension of disbelief: a feminine alien robot," Kurtzman says.

DECEPTICONS (the bad guys)

The title character:

The Fallen is an ancient robot, sort of the Transformers' version of Lucifer. He's one of the original robot aliens, and his defiance and arrogance led to his banishment into another dimension.

The screenwriters say that The Fallen holds the key to life on both Earth and Cybertron, the Transformers' home planet.

Other troublemakers:

A smaller, but no less malevolent Decepticon is known as The Doctor — a spider-like droid that transforms into various implements of torture and has a not-so-nice encounter with star Shia LaBeouf.

Then there's a giant one called Demolishor, and another tinier one with the sportier name of Wheelie.

Constructicons:

These seven robots — Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster — transform into construction machinery, but also link up with one another to form one gigantic robot stomper named Devastator.

"He's made of vehicles designed to build, and he turns into is someone who loves to destroy," Orci says. "He is an agent of absolute chaos."

Bay says Devastator is the crème de la smash and got a uncharacteristic reaction out of the film's executive producer already.

"Spielberg saw it and said, 'This is (expletive) awesome!' " Bay says, and adds: "It's always nice when you can make him swear."
