Report: Tiger Woods Had Plastic Surgery After Elin Smashed His Face with Golf Club

hollywoodgossip.com - In perhaps the craziest piece of Tiger Woods gossip to date, a respected sportswriter is claiming that the world's #1 golfer underwent reconstructive surgery.

After having his face broken by a golf club-wielding wife.

Furman Bisher cites, on his personal blog, inside sources telling him Tiger suffered a broken cheekbone and almost had his two front teeth knocked out.
He writes that the injuries are the real reason Woods has gone AWOL since his fight with Elin Woods and subsequent car crash right after Thanksgiving.
Bisher says a trustworthy journalist colleague sent him this information on Tiger, which he posted online to "present the picture in its clearest form."
However, the whole thing smells a bit like a hoax to us.

FORE: Did Elin Woods smash Tiger's cheating face with a 9-iron?
Don't get us wrong, we would not be surprised at all if Elin teed off on Tiger's face after what he pulled. But this scenario would be hard to conceal.
No police reports suggested Tiger's injuries were severe. Had they been, his wife likely wouldn't have been let off the hook after their investigation.
Moreover, for Tiger freaking Woods to undergo surgery without anyone knowing, during a global media firestorm no less, seems dubious at best.

But who knows. Bisher is considered one of the top golf writers, and goes into great detail about the attack and "cover up" that followed Tiger's crash.

His account states that Elin Woods drilled her husband in the face with a 9-iron after confronting him over text messages from Rachel Uchitel."
"At one point Tiger turned away to look at the TV, and as he turned back, Elin hit him on the right side of the face with the head of a 9-iron," he writes.
"When she struck Tiger, she made a huge gash in the right side of his face next to his nose (causing his nose to bruise some), and virtually knocking two of his upper teeth out, and breaking the bone on the upper right side."
Uchitel She
MISTRESS #1: Rachel Uchitel's affair with Tiger Woods may or may not have led to a face-breaking, but it definitely shattered the golfer's formerly pristine reputation.

"Tiger ran scared as hell out of the house (which is why he had on no shoes) with Elin swinging the golf club wildly throughout the hallway to the garage."
Wow.
The source claims the first doctor Woods saw knows a cosmetic dentist and plastic surgeon in Phoenix who could make Tiger look as if nothing happened.
The Friday after Tiger was released from the hospital, he didn't return home; he boarded a private plane for Phoenix, where he stayed until last Wednesday.
Lastly, the insider says reports of Tiger and Rachel still hitting it are bogus, and while Elin has retained a divorce attorney, she has not filed any papers.
Whether this is true remains to be seen, but it would help explain why:
  1. Tiger successfully vanished, doing so before the scandal broke.
  2. The police were unable to interview Tiger following the crash.
  3. Why he fled his own house in such a daze that he hit a tree.
  4. Why he announced he is taking an indefinite break from golf.
What do you think of this story? True or tabloid trash?

I believe it!

That's BS.

Tanning Beds the New Marlboro Reds - Goverment Tax

latimesblogs.latimes.com

December 22, 2009 |

Tanning-beds
Baking your body inside a tanning bed has always been detrimental to your skin. But it may soon also wreak havoc on your wallet.
This past weekend, the Senate amended the embattled healthcare bill by replacing the proposed 5% tax on elective plastic surgery procedures with a proposed 10% tax on indoor tanning. The tax would raise an estimated $2.7 billion over 10 years.
The so-called "Botax" on elective surgeries raised the ire of the American Medical Assn., which cried discrimination against women (as they're more likely to opt for plastic surgery than men). Apparently, the tanning bed industry doesn't pack as much clout -- so weekly trips to the local tanning salon might be significantly more expensive in the future.
Lawmakers love to tax things that are bad for you -- the higher costs are meant to be a further deterrent. And like smoking a pack of Camels every day, "bronzing" your epidermis regularly has been inextricably linked to cancer. Nose jobs may be steeped in vanity, but they at least have the power to improve mental states.
So I started thinking about what other societal "ills" could raise a little bread for our hobbled economy...
* Stiletto heels over 4 inches tall. Bad for the back, bad for the foot arch -- good for the economy?
* Vanity dogs. That pint-sized Pomeranian in the Louis Vuitton case that yaps at you in line at Whole Foods could pitch in for the greater good.
* "Embellished" jeans and T-shirts dripping with tattoo graphics and "crystals." OK, so they're not exactly detrimental to the wearer. But they've been making our eyes bleed for some time now.

Why Tara Reid Posed for Playboy

BARING ALL: Tara Reid's Playboy cover.
BARING ALL: Tara Reid's Playboy cover.

Tara Reid posed for Playboy to prove her body isn't damaged by plastic surgery.

stuff.co.nz - The American Pie actress - who was left with a scarred stomach after a liposculpting procedure went wrong - can be seen topless in the next edition of the famous men's magazine and she decided to accept the shoot to show off her healed and sexy body.
She said in an interview US TV station WPIX: "It wasn't a good surgery, it happens sometimes. I got it fixed and now I'm okay, and I want people to know that I'm okay.

"I've been okay now for the last five or six years but people only show old pictures which is so unfair and that's part of the reason why I did the Playboy shoot - to show the world this is me and this is what I look like."
Tara, 34, had been offered to strip for the publication - which is owned by Hugh Hefner - several times in the past but always turned down the opportunity.

However, the blonde beauty decided it was the right time to appear in Playboy's pages this time because she is in a good place "spiritually, physically and mentally".

She added; "I've been offered Playboy in the past but I didn't really think it was the right time. I was younger and I'm in my 30s now and I feel I'm at the best age in my life - mentally, physically and spiritually - and I'm proud of it.
"So many unbelievable stars have done it throughout the years and I figured, 'Why not?' "

The Law on Drugs: New Maine marijuana rules will take time to implement

A task force has until the end of the month to recommend how Maine should implement its new medical marijuana law, which calls for a patient registry and dispensaries.

Maine Gov. John Baldacci convened the 14-member group to "implement the will of the people" after nearly 60 percent of voters backed Question 5 in November. He said the group will ensure there are "appropriate safeguards in place to protect the public health and safety."

As soon as the votes were counted, state officials started hearing from people "interested in getting or growing marijuana," said Lucky Hollander, director of legislative relations at the Department of Health and Human Services.

The group's recommendations are due by Dec. 31, and then the Legislature will begin its review. Final rules are expected to be in place in the spring.

Baldacci's executive order forming the task force directs members to consider what's taken place in 13 other states that allow medical marijuana, including the four — Rhode Island, New Mexico, Colorado and California — that are dispensary states.

By supporting the change, voters backed a citizen initiative that resuscitated a bill state lawmakers had rejected. The new law permits people with "debilitating medical conditions," as diagnosed by a physician licensed in Maine, to use medical marijuana if they get written certification from the physician vouching for the drug's therapeutic benefits.

The law also changes the description of the medical conditions that warrant medical use of marijuana, including cancer, glaucoma, AIDS, hepatitis C, Chron's disease and conditions that produce "intractable pain."

"With this new law, there are currently tens of thousands of those qualified patients in the state of Maine," said Jonathan Leavitt, Question 5's official proponent and coordinator with Maine Citizens for Patients Rights.

Patients, upon registering with the state, would get an identification card qualifying them to possess no more than 2 1⁄2 ounces of marijuana. Residents can receive the drug from a caregiver who they are linked to in the registration process, or if needed, possess up to six plants to obtain the drug themselves.

There will be nonprofit dispensaries, which will be able to "acquire, possess, cultivate, manufacture, use, deliver, transfer or transport" the drug without fear of prosecution. There is no limit to the number of patients a dispensary can serve.

Allen St. Pierre, a native Mainer and executive director for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, said dispensary operators, possibly including those already doing business in other states, likely will look to locate to locales where "the local mores and values" support the law and already attract retail businesses.

Josh Stanley, owner of the Denver-based Peace in Medicine Center, a medicinal cannabis dispensary that also offers yoga and nutrition classes, said he's reviewing Maine's law and gauging public opinion to see if the state could serve as a good satellite location for his company.

"We're in the middle of looking at the legislative rulings in that state," he said. "We want to work closely with legislators to see what they want to see."

St. Pierre said local governing bodies also likely will be more receptive than in the past since "today, across the country, baby boomers are in control," and "they have a much different attitude about marijuana than the prior generation."

Ethan Nadelmann of the New York-based Drug Policy Alliance has said dispensaries won't populate Maine like they do Los Angeles because of stricter provisions here. In Maine, unlike California, all dispensaries will need state licenses.

Until the new rules are finalized, however, it's unclear what form the dispensaries will take or where they'll end up. The law, however, allows communities to limit the number of dispensaries operating locally.

Maine's law also directs DHHS to establish application and renewal fees that will cover administering the law. Leavitt said "revenue from this new program should be paying for Maine's expansion of its agricultural base."

At Tuesday's task force meeting, the confidentiality of those who participate was at issue. The panel opposes making the names public on the Internet or elsewhere, but members agreed the names would be made available to police in a "silent registry" if needed as part of an investigation.

Ten years ago, voters approved a medical marijuana program that let them possess the drug, but the measure didn't address how the public could legally access it.

Under the new law, "eligible patients must have documents and part of it includes information that a physician has reviewed the use of medical marijuana and that the physician feels that it might or may provide therapeutic value," said Bill Savage, senior assistant attorney general.

Still, it's not expected the state's doctors will universally adopt the option.

"I think that doctors, just like the population at large, are going to have widely divergent views about this," said Andy MacLean, the deputy executive vice president at the Maine Medical Association.

The association hasn't taken a position on the law but is willing to aid in its implementation and ensure doctors are aware of certain concerns, including potential liability issues, MacLean said.

"We are talking about an unregulated substance that may have impurities in it," he said.

The law doesn't require doctors to recommend medial marijuana use, MacLean said.

Sanford physician Bill Chernin agreed that opinion among doctors varies but thinks "most of us are fairly open-minded," so long as use of medical marijuana proves beneficial to the patient and the drug doesn't make its way "to another segment of the population."

He said he's had patients who say they smoke marijuana at night to help them sleep or to perk their appetite or decrease anxiety.

"For some of them it does do the trick and maybe what I have to offer is no better and may be more dangerous," he said. "I think we all recommend marijuana use in excess can have its downfalls as well."

The law before the task force also says someone visiting Maine can use medical marijuana if they have a registration card or its equivalent from another state. But Savage said other states' laws will apply should a user from Maine be in another state.

Tiger fights 'naked' photos

Tiger Woods went to court Thursday to block British papers from publishing photographs of his "naked parts" or sexcapades.

His London lawyers said the order issued by the High Court was in no way an admission that X-rated snaps even exist.

"Our client is not aware of any images," the lawyers said in a letter obtained by the gossip Web site TMZ.

"And in any event he would not have consented to any such photographs being taken."

It's unclear if Tiger's camp is trying to obtain a similar order for Playgirl, which said this week it has pictures that purportedly show the golfer in the buff.

Two weeks after he crashed his car, reportedly after a fight with his wife about his adultery, Woods' reputation is taking a daily beating.

Though "devastated" by the breadth of Tiger's cheating, his wife, Elin Nordegren, isn't packing her bags and fleeing with their two kids, People magazine reported.

"She's a fighter, and I am sure she's fighting like hell right now, to keep her family intact, but also to make sure Tiger will always be haunted by this," a source said.

Woods, who has been linked to more than a half-dozen other women, "has told Elin everything," the source said.

"Nothing that's coming out now is a surprise," the source said. "She knows what he has done, and they've had some long talks about it. They are getting everything out in the open."

Nordegren, 29, is a "child of divorce" whose parents split when she was 6 and doesn't want to put her children through that ordeal, sources told People.

In other developments:

A California madam claimed Woods was a client of her high-priced escort service who shelled out more than $100,000 over the years for Vegas hookups. "He would request the college-cutie, girls-next-door look," Michelle Braun told E!

Braun also told TMZ that Tiger-linked hotties Jamie Jungers and Holly Sampson worked for her service.

Jungers, a Las Vegas cocktail waitress who allegedly had an 18-month fling with Woods, is slated to dish about him today on NBC's "Today" show.

Meanwhile, porn star Sampson released a statement through her lawyer insisting she and Woods were "intimate" before he married Nordegren, a Swedish model and nanny.

A new mistress -- one not previously identified -- has hired celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred, Radaronline reported.

Allred already represents Rachel Uchitel, 34, the New York party girl who was first linked to Woods and has denied sleeping with him.

It was texts between Uchitel and Woods that supposedly sparked the Thanksgiving night fight between the golfer and his wife -- a row that culminated with him crashing his SUV into a tree and fire hydrant in Windermere, Fla.

Golf great Jack Nicklaus predicted the scandal would die down soon. "Our public is pretty forgiving at times," he said, calling Woods a "great athlete."

Dec. 11: Jamie Jungers, a 26-year-old lingerie model who claims she had an affair with the married Tiger Woods, says there will always be a place in her heart for Woods.

Michelle Obama Pawns Nobel Peace Prize For Cheap Jewelery, Food Coupons

thespoof.com - Washington DC-- When President Obama picked up his Nobel Prize for Peace today, many were left unimpressed, including his wife. After the president returned home with the solid gold prize, Mrs. Obama promptly took the medal to a local pawn shop, only three blocks from the White House. There, she exchanged the golden treasure for some kitschy stuff for herself.

"It looked real ugly when I first saw it." said the First Lady. "It had some old white guys with beards on the front. I didn't want to look at it anymore so I took it." she stated.

Mrs. Obama walked down to the Chek, Cash and Carry Pawn Shop in NW Washington. She goes there once or twice a week with priceless relics from the White House whenever she needs some quick cash.

Mrs. Obama exchanged the prize for two gold-nugget earrings, a shiny vinyl belt with a gold-plated buckle and a $.99 coupon for lunch at Burger Queen. Total value of her hoard came to about $120.00.

"I was never good at math." she laughed. "And besides, who gives a f&ck anyway. I do whatever the f*ck I want." she swore.

When the Nobel Committee in Norway heard what happened, their jaws almost dropped to the floor. They quickly issued a statement for the press.

"What incredible genius! What an incredible woman!" they swooned. And they immediately awarded her the 2010 Nobel Prize for Economics.

Fourth Tiger Woods mistress Jamie Jungers emerges - Tiger Woods, the $8-an-hour diner waitress and the deal that kept their affair out of the news - Jaimee Grubbs SEX TAPE

EXCLUSIVE by Graeme Culliford and Annette Witheridge 5/12/2009
Sex addict golfer had 18-month affair with golf fan's girlfriend and trawled Las Vegas clubs picking up blondes

Sex-mad Tiger Woods cheated on wife Elin with a fourth mistress - Jamie Jungers - the Sunday Mirror can reveal.

The predatory golfer had been married just nine months when he seduced 26-year-old model Jamie, above, at a Las Vegas party.

Over the next 18 months they met for sex in his California pad surrounded by wedding pictures of shameless Woods and his new bride.

The revelation comes as sources in Vegas, where Woods lived a parallel life of sex and sleaze in complete contrast to his Mr Clean public image, said the golfer was a sex addict who relentlessly pursued women.

Jamie is the fourth mistress named as having an affair with him, with sources suggesting the disgraced golf icon – who traded on his wholesome image to coin in millions in sponsorship deals every year – may have had flings with at least four others.

Her relationship with Woods, 33, began when she was at a party at the exclusive Bellagio Hotel in Vegas. He sent across a messenger to ask her to join him and his entourage at his VIP table.

Flattered by Woods’ attentions, she ended up going back to his $5,000-a-night suite at the MGM Grand Mansion hotel, where, she later told friends, they had passionate sex.

And while Woods was betraying Elin – who was living in their main home in Florida 2,000 miles away – Jamie herself was cheating on her fiancé, businessman Derek Schmidt.

Derek, 28, a golf fan who used to idolise Woods, said: “I was a massive Tiger fan. I had Tiger Woods memorabilia all over my house and even collected Tiger Woods videos.

“On the night Jamie met him for the first time, I had just bought the new Tiger Woods computer game. The following morning she told me she had met Tiger Woods and he gave her his number – and like an idiot I got really excited about it.

“I even asked her if she could call him so I could get my computer game signed.

“I knew Tiger had come on to her and asked for her number. I knew that he called her whenever he came to Las Vegas.
But she insisted that nothing was going on.”

Derek said Jamie first met Woods, now 33, when she was doing promotional work at the Bellagio in July 2005.

Woods and Elin had wed in October 2004.
Derek said: “She told me she got called over by a bouncer who said someone important wanted to meet her in the VIP room.

“She said she did not know it was Tiger Woods until she was brought to his table. He immediately started hitting on her and telling her she was beautiful. She told me he asked for her number and gave her his.
"I was surprised because I knew he was married and I didn’t think he was that type of guy. But I trusted Jamie. We had been engaged for over a year then – having first started dating in 2002 – and were head over heels in love.

“She showed me Tiger’s number and we both called it, putting her mobile on speaker phone. I still remember his answer machine message. It said, ‘You’ve called the right person at the wrong time. Please leave a message’.
"I thought that was pretty cool. I put his number in my phone and took it to work to show my colleagues. I played them all the same answer phone message. I had no idea my fiancée had slept with him the previous night. Now I feel like a total idiot.”

Tiger Woods (Pic:Getty)
Derek said that over the following months Jamie began making regular trips to California to meet Woods.

He said: “It was hard to keep track of what she was doing as she always had the excuse that she needed to travel for her work.
"She was staying out late at night and travelling a great deal.”
He said it was only after he split with her in 2007 because of her partying and vanity that he found out about Woods.
“Now, I know the truth, it makes me really mad.”

Woods has also reportedly had flings with cocktail waitress Jamiee Grubbs, 24, New York socialite Rachel Uchitel – believed to have been paid $1million to keep silent about Woods – and Vegas club worker Kalika Moquin, 27

Other women he has been linked to include Mindy Lawton (see below)  and a “sex hungry” wealthy woman.“trailer trash” neighbour in Florida

Derek, who is now engaged to another woman, said: “I think Tiger is a great competitor on the golf course, but away from it he is a horrible person.

“He should have more respect for himself and his family. I am certainly not a fan of his any more.”

Tiger Woods, the $8-an-hour diner waitress and the deal that kept their affair out of the news

By Sharon Churcher

Perhaps he didn't notice the SUV parked across the road. If he did, he wasn't troubled by its blacked-out windows or any nagging hint of familiarity about its presence.
In fact, if Tiger Woods thought so much as twice about what he was doing, then Mindy Lawton had no inkling of it as they enjoyed a secret assignation in Tiger's Cadillac Escalade 4x4 in a church car park soon after daybreak during a Florida spring.
But every move of that alfresco encounter was recorded by a surveillance team of reporters and photographers from one of America's biggest-selling tabloid magazines. It was a scoop - the first example of what we now know to be a pattern of infidelity on Tiger's part.
Mindy Lawton
'Naive': Waitress Mindy Lawton loved Tiger Woods and thought he was being faithful to her, according to her family
And it was two years ago - two years before the 'outing' of nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel and the bizarre late-night car crash outside Tiger's Florida home that set in motion a chain of revelations.
Yet during those intervening years, Tiger had seemed what Tiger always seemed - a family man: the ultimate professional, controlled, focused, even a bit dull - because this was a sting that, were it not for last week's ructions, would never have seen the light of day. Tiger's management made sure of that.

Today, for the first time, The Mail on Sunday can tell the story of the affair that preceded that car park encounter in 2007 and the desperate cover-up that ensued.
It is a story that goes a long way to answering two of the most persistent questions in the whole Tiger Woods scandal: why did a man whose massive earnings depended on him being the ultimate clean-living sportsman jeopardise everything, from career to family, with such apparent recklessness? And how did he get away with it for so long?
Tiger Woods and wife Elin in 2005
Playing around: Tiger Woods and wife Elin in 2005
Today, Mindy Lawton, 34, knows that she was just one of many mistresses taken by the golfer. But, according to her family, throughout their 14-month affair she laboured under the delusion that what she had with Tiger was special and that they were in love.
Mindy's sister, Orlando primary school teacher Lynn Lawton, said: 'She is extremely, extremely naive, my sister. She is single, never married, never had children and still looking for a relationship. I have to hand it to him. It was brilliant to choose my sister to play his kind of game.'
The unworldly Mindy was easily dazzled and undemanding. She and Tiger met in summer 2006, when Mindy was working as an $8-an-hour  manager and waitress at Perkins, a diner only a short drive from Tiger's home in the upmarket Orlando suburb of Windermere. Tiger and his wife Elin would regularly take breakfast there.
Lynn recalled: 'My sister told me they came in regularly. Elin would read the paper while Tiger ogled my sister. She is very bubbly, very outgoing. You couldn't help but notice her, even when she was in her waitress uniform.
'Mindy said he and Elin seemed disconnected. There would not be much conversation. Tiger would just sit there, looking at Mindy. She said, "Oh my God, he is so cute!"
'She doesn't know much about golf, but she did know he was married because Elin was sitting there.'
One day, Lynn said, Mindy called in a state of excitement: 'She said he had called her at Perkins and said, "This is Tige," - that's the pet name he always used for himself - "Will you meet me at the Blue Martini?"
'She was very excited but nervous so she asked our next oldest sister, Bobbi, to go with her. She was like, "Oh, I'm going to hang out with Tiger!"'
It is now known that this nightclub and cocktail bar was a favourite haunt of Tiger's - a place where he could entertain, and be entertained, in the relative privacy of the club's VIP section, surrounded by girls, minders and selected male friends.
Again, it is striking how relatively little effort he seemed to make to conceal these clandestine meetings. But, as Mindy was to find out, Tiger's powerful entourage and management were masters in protecting  their money-maker's image.
At first, according to Lynn, the bouncer wouldn't let Mindy and her sister into the VIP room. 'They stood there for a while and then all of a sudden, Tiger nods to the guy to let them in. Tiger didn't get up. He just sat there.
'He was with a group of Orlando and Los Angeles basketball players. Bobbi bought him a drink and had one of the bartenders take it over. She said Mindy started dancing with another girl. My sister is a real good dancer and Bobbi said Tiger couldn't keep his eyes off her.'
Men's Fitness - Tiger Woods
The magazine featuring Tiger, which appeared after his affair with Mindy Lawton was discovered
Tiger and Mindy left the club separately. Mindy drove her sister home then met Tiger on his way to his house. She followed the golfer, driving at a discreet distance, and at the gated development was waved in by the guard.
Lynn said: 'Mindy told me the next day, "We went to his house and had sex. He was extremely good."'
Lynn thinks Elin was out of the country that night. She said: 'That was always the pattern. Mindy would drive her old Saturn car and follow Tiger in his luxurious Escalade.
'My sister was just a little girl on an hourly wage at Perkins. We knew what he wanted her for. But she wouldn't believe it.
'Maybe Tiger thought the security guards would think she was his cleaning lady,' Lynn conjectured. Or maybe they had just seen it all before and knew to turn a blind eye.
Truth be told, however charming and cool Tiger appeared as he sat over his breakfast, there was a different side to him, one only now emerging, which his young wife Elin must surely have been aware of.
As early as 2001, there had been hints of a wilder side to the sportsman when he went on holiday with a group of friends, reputedly calling themselves The Brothers and consisting of basketball players Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley and former professional footballer, Ahmad Rashad.
Together with baseball's most expensive player Alex Rodriguez, they travelled to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Jordan gambled, placing up to $5,000 on a single card. Tiger showed his rebellious side, bleaching his hair blond.
But that was before he met Elin, before they married in 2004 and before their children, daughter Sam Alexis, now two, and ten-month-old son  Charlie, were born.
Once the affair between Tiger and Mindy started, it gathered momentum, with the couple meeting at his house for sex every two or three weeks. Incredibly, he continued to have breakfast at Perkins to the point where, Lynn said: 'Everyone was talking about it because he would wait for Mindy in his Escalade and then she would follow him in her car. He was so brazen it was incredible.
'Everyone in our family knew about it too. I remember one day we were all sitting on our back porch, my parents, my husband and Mindy, and we said, "Do you know he is married?" And she started crying and said yes.
'My husband told her, "The way he is behaving with you, behind his wife's back, I am sure he has a lady in every city."
'It got to the point where our neighbours and friends knew about it too. In a way it was quite clever, him being so open about it because we thought, "Maybe this is just how celebrities behave."
'I am sure Elin knew nothing about it, because she was never home when Mindy was there. But because Tiger was so complacent about it, it never would have occurred to anyone to tell her what was going on. He never said to my sister, "This has to be secret."'
Meanwhile, on the golfing circuit, Tiger's brilliance and sheer earning power meant that he never had to explain himself, or his behaviour, to anybody.
However many rumours may have circulated, however uncouth some of his habits - such as  spitting and swearing on the greens, and being churlish to caddies - his talent provided all the excuse, or shield he needed.

Afters: Perkins diner in Orlando, Florida, where Tiger had breakfast and met waitress Mindy Lawton
Tiger was so focused, nobody dared disturb him. At the major championships in Britain, he tended to rent houses rather than join other players at hotels, under the guise of maintaining his privacy. He allowed no visitors and, in recent years, his wife was, at best, an infrequent member of his tournament entourage.
On the course, he stared straight ahead, interacting with no one, except maybe his caddie. He demanded utter loyalty of his friends and the proximity of his management. He never divulged anything about himself and for years it was believed that, far from having something to hide, the former child-prodigy was frankly a little bit dull.
He said nothing, people thought, because he had nothing to say. It was as if he had picked up a golf club at the age of three and - save for the aberration that was his marriage - never showed any interest in picking anything, or anyone else up since.
This was the seemingly impervious image that won him deals with big names such as Nike, Gillette and Pepsi - endorsements that, should he be able to maintain them, could see his fortune increase six-fold to £3billion in the next ten years.
But Mindy - and the others -  saw a very different Tiger. Lynn said: 'I saw the texts he sent her. One of them said he was dreaming of being inside of her. Another said, "Do you want to get laid?" It was crude. There was no mention of love. She said he didn't talk about his wife.'
Had Tiger mentioned Elin, it might have meant confronting the sordid reality that his 'romance' with Mindy was conducted while his wife was pregnant with their first child.
Instead, Lynn said: 'He talked very little about anything. She said he never wore condoms. That really broke me up. I was so worried she might catch a disease, especially as we suspected he was promiscuous. But Mindy was in love with him. I think she thought he was faithful to her.'
In fact, it seems likely that Tiger's affair with Mindy overlapped with his relationship with Jaimee Grubbs, the 24-year-old cocktail mistress he met in April 2007 and with whom he had a three-year affair.
According to a source close to Jaimee, she very much enjoyed her affair with Tiger - perhaps having less romantic notions than Mindy.
Rachel Uchitel
Rachel Uchitel is said to have claimed Tiger took a sedative for insomnia which also 'heightens sex'
Jaimee simply accepted that theirs was 'a physical, not a cerebral relationship'. She has said: 'Tiger might have started out naive, but sex became like an addiction to him.'
Jaimee has also claimed that the star took the painkiller Vicoden - a prescription he explained as necessary because of a recent knee injury.
Rachel Uchitel, the New York club hostess whose 'outing' as one of Tiger's mistresses supposedly led to last Saturday's marital meltdown, allegedly told one friend that Tiger took Ambien - a sedative prescribed for his insomnia but said to heighten sexual experiences.
Porn star Holly Sampson and marketing director Kalika Moquin, 33, both named as mistresses, do nothing to dispute these depictions of the man or his predilections.
Another as yet unnamed mistress believes: 'His big problem is, ironically, insecurity. He has never felt particularly attractive. From the age of four or five, he was destined to be a golfing legend but no one told him how to be a man.
'He married the dream girl, had the perfect family, but couldn't feel satisfied with that.
'He's not a happy man. When his father died [in May 2006] his moral compass went off. He was caught once and got away with it. He thought he could get away with it for ever.'
Which brings us back to that car park, that surveillance team in the spring of 2007 and the scoop that could have exploded Tiger's myth long before now. So what happened?
Put bluntly, Tiger sold himself to save himself - or at least his management did. With an exertion of power only possible by the very rich and very famous, a deal was struck.
In return for burying the story of Tiger's affair, he would give an exclusive cover interview to a men's health magazine owned by the same company as the tabloid.
According to our investigation, when 'Team Tiger' discovered that the tabloid magazine not only had blurry pictures of him and Mindy in the car park but evidence of the consummation, they went into a panic. Then they went to work.
Neal Boulton, an editor in the tabloid magazine's company at the time, revealed: 'They said, "What do we have to do not to let this get out?"'
The answer was press the magazine's publisher to withhold the story in return for Tiger appearing on the August 2007 cover of its stablemate publication, Men's Fitness.
And so Tiger, who regularly declines interviews on the grounds that he is a 'private' person, struck beefcake-style poses and gave tips on diet, exercise and weightlifting.
The tabloid's parent company insisted that the exclusive was not a quid pro quo. But it was enough for Boulton to resign in protest at the editorial interference which he perceived as an underhand 'trade-off'.
Ironically, had Mindy voiced her own concerns some weeks earlier, Tiger and his team might have avoided everything which followed.
Jaimee Grubbs
Jaimee Grubbs, whom Tiger was seeing probably at the same time as Mindy
According to Lynn, her sister had told her of 'a strange car following her at night'. Around the same time, Lynn herself received a call from a reporter at the tabloid. But then nothing came of it – or so the Lawton family thought. And as far as Mindy knew, Tiger simply dropped out of her life.
Lynn said: 'You'd have thought with all his money, he would have paid her off and all the other girls but I guess he thought he had them in the palm of his hand. He treated my sister like a piece of meat.'
Tiger ended his affair with Mindy as soon as his management informed him of the tabloid sting. He just stopped calling. For her, there was no explanation, for him there was no story - and that was what mattered.
In the final analysis, it was perhaps too much for Tiger's management to hope that all his 'Mindys' would go away. And, crucially, cracks were beginning to appear in the one thing upon which everything - his reputation and his shield - depended: Tiger's game.
At the Open at Turnberry in the summer, Tiger missed the halfway cut for only the second time in a major championship in his glittering career.
At the time, the golfing circuit was awash with rumours that he had returned to his rented house and taken out his frustrations on its interior, trashing the place to the tune of £6,000 to £16,000, depending on who one believes, though nothing was ever confirmed.
In recent months, talk of arguments with Elin and a recent ultimatum simply would not be silenced.
Perhaps when the Mindy problem went away, Tiger thought himself immune from exposure. He had been so blatant and emerged without a dent to his image. Perhaps he believed that his image was so artfully constructed that the truth just couldn't punch through it.
Perhaps he didn't think at all - a luxury afforded him by his wealth, his management and his power, and one which from here on in, he'll have to do without.

Has Tiger fled the Florida wreckage?

Tiger Woods was still in hiding last night, amid speculation that he may be living separately from his wife Elin, writes Sharon Churcher.
Unidentified 'friends' of the golfer have said the couple are having marriage counselling. But Woods's continued refusal to speak to police about his bizarre car crash has led to speculation that he quietly has moved out of their mansion in a gated Orlando community.
One source close to the investigation said last night: 'I'd be shocked if Tiger is still in Orlando. The rumour on the PGA circuit is that there was no Wedgwood china left in the house after their blow-up. No one has seen Tiger.
'One story is that he left his lair after the wreck and took a private jet to New York. Maybe he's decided to party some more.'
Woods's attorney Mark Nejame declined to comment when asked if the golfer had left town.

Jaimee Grubbs SEX TAPE? New PICTURES Of Tiger Woods' Alleged Mistress

huffingtonpost.com - RadarOnline.com speaks to Aaron Kinnard, ex-boyfriend of Jaimee Grubbs. Grubbs is alleged to have had a 31-month affair with Tiger Woods. Racy text messages and a voicemail to Grubbs, purportedly from Woods, were released this week, and today Woods issued an apology for his "transgressions."

Kinnard, who claims to have had a six-month relationship with Grubbs, tells RadarOnline.com that the pair made a sex tape and took numerous naked pictures. He says that the tape and nude photos have been destroyed, but he provided numerous pictures of Grubbs, which can be seen below. RadarOnline.com's gallery is here. Pictures of Grubbs are below.

Meanwhile, NBC San Diego reports that Grubbs has a criminal record:

Jaimee Grubbs was charged with misdemeanor burglary and grand theft in July 2004 after she was accused of shoplifting from the Nordstrom's at Horton Plaza, the records revealed. She was 18 years old.

According to the article, Grubbs was sentenced to a day in jail and fined $563.

Wife should of use Woods instead of Iron - Uchitel Tattles - Sponsors stand behind thier man, for Now

Parnevik hopes Elin 'uses a driver next time'

(NECN) - On Thursday, the country will hear from the New York woman who has denied having an affair with Tiger Woods.

Rachel Uchitel's lawyer said she sill talk about her relationship with the golfer.
Woods apologized for his "transgressions, behavior and personal failings" in a statement on Wednesday. This after US Weekly Magazine released a voicemail on its web site that Woods allegedly left Jaime Grubbs, who claimed to have had an affair with Woods. She said she met Woods in Las Vegas after the 2007 Masters.
Woods is also facing criticism from fellow golfers, including Jesper Parnevik, who introduced him to his wife, Elin.

"I'm kind of feel a little sorry for Elin, since me and my wife are at fault (for) hooking her up with him," Parnevik said. "We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably just have to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of a 3-iron."

examiner - Rachel Uchitel, the New York party planner who was named in a National Enquirer story as Tiger Woods mistress, has decided to come clean and admit she did indeed have a sexual relationship with the married Golf Great.  Radaronline is also reporting that Tiger paid for her expenses to meet him in Australia at his last golf event.

In a video from x17, Rachel looks the victim, moments after her limelight lawyer, Gloria Allred, feeds the paparazzi.  The best part of the video below is when the one paparazzo dumps the fancy tray of food for the shot of her client.  Stay tuned for tommorow's press conference, Gloria Allred is an expert at getting the max out of her clients 15 minutes.

Rachel is now the third woman to come forward with claims of extra-marital affairs with the Billionaire Golf Legend.  Right after US Magazine published a voice mail, in which Tiger even identifies himself, to Jamie Grubb, asking the Las Vegas cocktail waitress to change take her name off her phone.  Mr Woods published his own angry confession that yes indeed he is guilty of indiscretions and he is mad as heck that the media forced him to admit it.

That is three women and counting, the latest being Kalika Moquin, a marketing manager for Bank nightclub in Las Vegas. Tiger has been married for five years to model Elin Nordegren, the couple have two young children.

One of the world's most recognisable figures with the image of a squeaky clean, hard-working sportsman, Tiger Woods has lucrative endorsement deals with major companies such as Nike, AT&T and Gillette, a unit of Procter & Gamble.

His marketing deals appeared to be holding fast last night despite the gathering furore.

Nike, Gillette, NetJets, and PepsiCo Gatorade all said their relationships with the golfer remained unchanged.

"Nike supports Tiger and his family. Our relationship remains unchanged," Beth Gast of Nike Golf said in an e-mail. His case was hardly hurt by the fact that the Florida Highway Patrol has closed its investigation into the accident on Tuesday and issued a traffic ticket to Woods for careless driving, saying the accident was his fault but that no criminal charges would be brought.

Less easy to dismiss, however, is the tide of sleaze rising at his doorstep. Several days ago, the 'National Enquirer' had said Woods had a relationship with Rachel Uchitel, whom the paper described as a "New York City party girl." Uchitel has denied any such relationship. Life & Style magazine reported that Woods had been seeing Kalika Moquin, a marketing manager for a Las Vegas nightclub. The magazine said she "neither confirmed nor denied an affair with Tiger."

The top draw on the PGA tour, Woods is chasing Jack Nicklaus' record for victories in major tournaments and the unofficial title of best golfer ever. In a glittering career, he has won 71 times on the tour, including 14 major wins.

He made a successful return to professional golf last February after eight months following reconstructive knee surgery, and finished on top of the FedEx Cup standings for the season.

Will the real Tiger Woods mistress please standup - Who is the Real Tiger Woods?

Don't be shocked by the lapse in Tiger's crafted image

Nice work, Tiger Daly.

Or should I call you Tiger Woody?

My goodness, Tiger. The babes are falling out of the sky, bro. Though I always believed a man of your stature could pull more than VH1 reality show rejects and Las Vegas hoochie mamas.

What's next? A Hooter's girl?

"I will wear you out ... when was the last time you got [expletive]?" one alleged text message from Woody to one of the hoochies supposedly read. Another alleged text from Woods: "Send me something very naughty ... go to the bathroom and take [a picture]."

The shock isn't that Woods is hornier than an ESPN anchor, it's that it took this long to prove something I've been saying for years -- Tiger Woods is a jerk. Always has been, always will be.

It's the truth. Woods' money, army of publicists and protective sycophants in the media have long covered up this fact, but Woods has always been just a step below the John Daly/Michael Jordan/Barry Bonds jerkdom line of demarcation. Covered up because if you want to interview Tiger Woody, you have to be kind to Tiger Woody.

This isn't a column exploding with glee over the crumbling public image of a superstar. This is a column saying Tiger never deserved the mantle of alleged pristine person in the first place.

I've been around him enough to see his jerkiness in full bloom. Few athletes are as arrogant as Tiger.

Woody hired a caddy who's a bully and a wannabe, and Tiger seems to enjoy watching his goon elbow and shove his way around like an out-of-control bouncer.

Woods hawks his golf attire and equipment (no, not that equipment) but blows off fans who wait hours for his autograph.

Most on the tour are among the most easygoing and least controlling in all of professional sports (NBA players are the most fan and media friendly). Woods was always the opposite. Of course, he's a much bigger presence than Padraig Harrington, but Woody's jerkiness still stands out.

Even the statement released by Woods is full of arrogant gems. His whining about tabloid coverage is typical Woods. If he doesn't go whipping out his 9-iron around every hostess west of the Mississippi, there are no tabloid inquiries.

That's not too difficult to understand, is it?

Tiger carefully crafted one image, did everything in his power to control it, but all the while was living a secret life.

Phil Mickelson has been called a phony, been called Eddie Haskell, but it turns out Woody's been the one presenting one image while living another.

Tiger is a jerk. Always has been, always will be. Now, everyone sees it.

In all seriousness, do you know what Woods jokingly calls himself in the third person? This isn't a joke. I'm serious. He calls himself "Woody." I'm not kidding. He's used it before with some golf writers.

So good luck, Woody. It's going to be a lot more difficult to stay in that sanctimonious perch now.

Meanwhile, a red alert warning to all waitresses, hostesses and any other woman with an "esses" in her job title: Woody might be off the market for a bit.

That is, until the divorce proceedings begin.

Below, we take a look at some of the drama's key players in Yahoo! Search and their rumored roles.

Elin Nordegren
The wife of Tiger Woods has been thrust into the Search spotlight over the past week. While no stranger to gawkers (she was once a model, after all), this level of Search attention has elevated Ms. Nordegren to a whole new level of public scrutiny. Over the past week, Web lookups have soared an astounding 2,832%. Additionally, related Searches on "elin nordegren pictures" spiked to new heights. She has yet to release an official statement on the sordid affair.

Jaimee Grubbs
In Tiger's boilerplate apology statement, he mentions "transgressions" that have let his family down. Though Tiger hasn't named names, Jaimee Grubbs has more than volunteered to explain her part in the troublesome situation. A Los Angeles cocktail waitress and former participant on the VH1 reality show "Tool Academy," Ms. Grubbs claims to have had a lengthy affair with Woods. Additionally, she has gone on record as saying she has pictures, hundreds of risqué text messages, and even a "frantic voicemail" from the married golfer. Searches on "jaimee grubbs" and "jaimee grubbs photos" have both shot up from zip into the tens of thousands overnight. Last word: Claims to have had affair.

Rachel Uchitel
In contrast to Ms. Grubbs, Rachel Uchitel has strenuously denied the allegations that she and the world's best golfer have hooked up. Still, that hasn't stopped the Searches. Lookups on "rachel uchitel" and "who is rachel uchitel" have both rocked the Search box, as curious searchers seem unwilling to take her at her word. Time magazine has an interesting article on Ms. Uchitel. The 34-year-old nightclub promoter is reportedly "aggressive" when it comes to meeting celebrities (her mom claims she once dated Derek Jeter and A-Rod). However, in an exclusive interview with the New York Post, Uchitel has denied the allegations of a romance with Woods, even going so far as to offer to take a lie detector test. Last word: Denies affair.

Kalika Moquin
Lastly (or not?), there's Kalika Moquin. A relative newcomer to the Tiger watch, Ms. Moquin was named in Life & Style magazine as having romantic links to Tiger. As soon as that possible connection hit the Web, searches on Moquin roared into breakout status. Though her connection to Tiger is still just a rumor, folks clearly want to know more about her. Life & Style explains that she works as a marketing manager at a Las Vegas nightclub. According to the magazine, when Moquin was asked about an alleged affair, she neither confirmed not denied it, saying, "It's not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other." Last word: No comment.

Ohio Experiments with One Drug for Lethal Injection - News Video

lasvegasnow.com - COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The man considered the father of lethal injection in the United States said it doesn't matter whether three fatal drugs are used or one - as his home state of Ohio has proposed - as long as the drug works efficiently.

Dr. Jay Chapman, who developed the lethal three-drug cocktail in the 1970s when he was the Oklahoma state medical examiner, said Ohio's decision to become the first state in the nation to use only one drug achieves that goal.

He said there was no particular reason he didn't propose a single drug, other than a concern that it might take a little longer to work. His three-drug method became widespread after states copied Oklahoma.

Now Chapman, semiretired in California at age 70, said he believes the system he helped create shows condemned inmates too much mercy.

"Their death is made much too easy by this sort of protocol for the crimes that they committed," he told The Associated Press last week.

But he said the hope was injection would avoid the pain-and-suffering arguments and allow executions to take place.

Under Ohio's new system, executioners would use a single large dose of thiopental sodium, an anesthetic, to put inmates to death, similar to the way veterinarians euthanize animals.

The one-drug system has never been used on condemned inmates in the United States.

State officials proposed the change after state executioners tried unsuccessfully Sept. 15 to find a usable vein for condemned killer Romell Broom. Broom, who raped and killed a 14-year-old girl in 1984 in Cleveland, is challenging the state's right to try a second time.

The new protocol would provide a backup method using two drugs injected into a muscle if no usable vein can be found, as happened with Broom. The current system uses one drug that puts inmates to sleep, a second that paralyzes them and a third that stops their heart.

Death penalty opponents have long argued that the three drugs could cause offenders severe pain if the first drug didn't adequately knock out an inmate.

Capital punishment entered Chapman's life early. A childhood friend, Chester Gregg, was executed for killing his wife in July 1952.

Chapman, who grew up in the southwest Ohio town of Blanchester, and his mother stayed up with Gregg's mother the night of the execution. He said the event had no bearing on his later work.

"It's a totally separate thing," Chapman said. "It's just an experience I had along the way."

Chapman, a forensic pathologist, was the Oklahoma medical examiner while state officials were looking for a new execution method shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court declared capital punishment constitutional. Lawmakers then began looking for a humane method of execution to replace the electric chair.

Chapman initially proposed a two-drug approach: an anesthetic followed by a paralytic drug. He later added potassium chloride, to provide for instantaneous death.

"We felt that by going with this type of regimen, no one could suggest that it was cruel and unusual because people undergo this very protocol every day for anesthetic for surgery world-round," Chapman said.

The U.S. Supreme Court last year upheld the constitutionality of lethal injection, ruling on Kentucky's three-drug method, which is similar to that in Ohio and many other states.

A separate lawsuit challenges Ohio's protocol, questioning in recent months the qualifications of executioners, some of whom are paramedics.

Attorneys for death row inmates mention the case of Joseph Clark when raising questions about executioners' ability to perform lethal injection. In 2006, Clark's execution had to be restarted after he pushed himself up and announced the drugs weren't working. An execution in 2007 also took much longer that usual. The state has repeatedly said it's confident in its execution team.

The state argues that the new method renders the lawsuit moot, since it removes the possibility of pain, and it addresses situations such as the Broom case. Opponents says moving ahead quickly with the new, untested method amounts to "human experimentation."

Ohio hopes to have its new system in place in time for a possible execution Dec. 8.

Katie Piper's Story an Acid Attack Victim

"My Hero"

bbc.co.uk - After being cruelly disfigured in an acid attack masterminded by a jealous boyfriend, model Katie Piper talks fondly of the man she calls “my hero” – pioneering plastic surgeon Mohammed Ali Jawad.

Two years ago, Katie Piper had her whole life ahead of her - she was 24 years old, working as a model and TV presenter, and enjoying life as a young woman in London. But then something happened which was to change her life forever. A jealous ex-boyfriend she had met on an internet site sent an accomplice to throw acid in her face. Katie was left fighting for her life and suffering from horrific, disfiguring burns to her face, chest and arms.

In the course of the last 24 months, Katie has had to endure more than 30 operations. But when she talks of the surgeon who re-built her face she smiles with gratitude and calls him “my hero.” His name is Doctor Mohammad Ali Jawad. Dr Jawad is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgeon who helps women who have been cruelly disfigured in acid attacks.
Dr Mohammed Ali Jawad at work (right)

Until he met Katie, all of his work with acid victims had been in his home country, Pakistan. There he says it is all too common for women to be attacked in this way. Most of them are attacked by men they know – men who bear a grudge and who buy sulphuric acid all too easily and cheaply in the market. Dr Jawad said he was truly shocked when he saw Katie’s injuries - in 15 years of practising he had never seen a white woman attacked this way. After consulting the top names in plastic surgery, he used pioneering treatment to rebuild her skin in the first procedure of its kind in the world.
Katie in a mask she wears as part of her treatment

A layer of a filler skin substitute never before used on new patients was moulded over Katie’s face and a graft of skin was placed on top. And Dr Jawad was also careful to give Katie ability to still make facial expressions - something he'll appreciate as she smiles again in gratitude. Katie still bears the scars of the attack and has to wear a transparent perspex face mask 23 hours a day, but the revolutionary treatment given to her by Dr Jawad has given her great new hope for the future. For her and others like her in Pakistan, Dr Mohammad Ali Jawad will always be their hero.
